One of the questions we are often asked by clients when they are selecting cloth is “have you got anything made up that i can look at?” We keep around 20 suits and jackets in stock in different sizes, mainly to assess fit and posture. But we ensure they are also styled slightly different to show all the possibilities available. We also have all our current works going through and items for fittings at various stages. So at any one time we can have upwards of 30 different garments to show people. But its still not enough.
If there is one thing that can hold back a gents wardrobe development its colour, or rather a lack of it. Quite often the default setting of navy and grey provide a safe haven that many do not tread outside. Rightly so navy and grey form the basis of modern men’s wardrobes. They are the staples upon which a solid wardrobe is built. However gently introducing colours is the next logical step.
