Garments crafted using “Mare” will feel almost weightless against the skin while maintaining a polished drape. Resulting in garments that breathe naturally, reflect light softly, and move with exceptional fluidity.
We crafted this bespoke dinner jacket in a 240gram cotton and silk blend, allowing the garment to be light in colour and weight, yet still have enough texture and depth to combat any opaqueness. We have often mentioned that ivory can be a tricky colour to make work. The trick, as we have found, is blending fibres and textures.
The bespoke ivory dinner jacket is a masterclass in modern tailoring— bold, classic, yet effortlessly elegant. Our signature soft shoulder construction and clean silhouette create a refined, flowing shape that feels distinctly Neapolitan yet somehow British at the same time. Whilst the slubby textured cloth alludes to a true sense speak of sartorial style. Paired with black trousers, it delivers timeless black-tie style with a contemporary edge.
Rather than relying on loud styling or fashion-driven details, this bespoke dinner jacket, and the whole Mare collection, really, focuses on texture, tailoring, and subtle textural contrast.
This bespoke piece was carefully styled with a quiet, understated elegance. Its neutral shade works beautifully for evening wear as intended. But its distinct lack of silk lapels and contrasts allow it to pivot into summer layering, or elevated casual dressing, offering a timeless quality that extends beyond seasonal fashion.
