In his own words….
About me
I’m Jonny 23 years old from Harborne Birmingham. I’ve been creating and styling garments for the past 7 years, I love it so much I even went to university for it.
I attended the University of the Arts London and graduated with a degree in Fashion Styling and Production. After having lived in London for three years I knew that I wanted to come back home to the lovely people of Birmingham and continue my journey in a city that I love.
I have spent the last 5 years working as a tailor, building up my knowledge with all sorts of materials, styles and techniques. I often experiment at home with creating garments for myself, crafting little things as I go until I finally make the perfect jacket (its nearly there, I’m thinking two more samples and its finally ready).
I’m excited to put this knowledge to the test in the more structured environment of formal menswear with Colmore Tailors and help you all style that perfect garment.
Although I’m from Birmingham, I’m a huge Liverpool fan (My dad was the glory supporter not me). I am a notorious waffler when it comes to football, so if you bring up football during an appointment you may have to book in for the following hour.
What am I doing?
I’ll be joining you along the whole process, helping out wherever I can. I am a big fan of having a chat to understand your wants and needs to make the process as easy as possible.
I’m more than excited to meet you all and get started on creating the perfect garments for you!
Favourites
My favourite drink would be a Staropramen, but only in the jug glass. Favourite Movie is easily ‘GoodFellas’, seen it around 50 times, love it. And my favourite album is too tough a question, I can’t answer that.
