It's that time of year where we are pleased to announce the arrival of the summer seasonal fabrics from Caccoipoli Napoli. Naples most beloved merchant of fine cloth
The samples arrived a couple of days ago and they have reverted back to the old format, using cards as opposed to the bunches that were previously used in the winter. There was nothing amiss with the bunch format, but I suppose the cards reinforce the limited edition nature of the cloth pretty well.
So what to expect?
A lot of very wearable checks in hues of blue and brown, with a little bit of purple and some berry colours thrown in too. A little different, but eminently wearable as with all of Cacciopoli’s collections. Peruse a few samples below….
There's a prevalence of wool, silk and linen blend jacketing cloth, which is what Cacciopoli are known for. With a little bit of double-face cotton too.
You really pick up the sense that they have been in the game a while and know what they are doing. They have a wonderful ability to push the envelope a little more than most, whilst retaining taste. A tricky balance that they always seem to navigate well.
In-house I always say the same, Cacciopoli will get you in the end. They have an innate ability to produce fabrics that lure you in, that you can’t quite seem to get elsewhere, and in just the right shade. It’s why they are so beloved by Colmore Tailors.
