The Classic Blouson is the classic jacket style that every man with a finely tuned sartorial sense should own.
By all means, the blouson is a reverent celebration of modern-classic styling – the epitome of cool and retro, and although it was adopted with casual intent, it radiates a simplicity and elegance that is powerfully understated. It pairs as effortlessly with flannel as it does with denim.
What Defines The Blouson?
The blouson jacket finishes at waist-length, is complete with ribbed cuffs and a ribbed waistband that causes the material to “blouse” over. The style is somewhat related to the bomber jacket; however our take is invariably more tailored and with a sharper waistline.

Our stylish bespoke blouson is ready to be skilfully crafted into a bespoke wardrobe masterpiece. It’s suitably available in an extensive selection of luxurious and durable fabrics such as alcantara, wool and cashmere.
The weight of The Classic Blouson can be conveniently scaled up or down to suit the season. The lightness and freedom of make allow everything from a soft and warm Loro Piana favola wool and cashmere blend, to the luxuriously light and durable alcantara.
The beauty of the blouson’s simplicity and style means that there’s greater freedom in selecting a fabric that harmonises with your needs.
What is Alcantara?
Alcantara is a soft, suede-like synthetic microfibre pile that is noted for its durability and close similarity to leather (it’s commonly used in premium car interiors as it provides more grip than leather). It refrains from overheating like leather, or soggy like cloth, so it lends itself perfectly to blouson jacketing.
As standard, our classic blouson is made to the highest quality using a breadth of tailoring skills – utilising numerous styling features to ensure total freedom around comfort and fit. Flexible styling features include a choice of ribbed stand collar or a flat collar, with either subtle welted pocket or patch pockets with flaps. The patch pockets are available in either flat or bellows, and both feature a vertical dual pocket behind.
The Classic Blouson is now available to order and takes around 4-5 weeks. We have a capsule range of styles available in our Birmingham showroom for you to view and try on.
We have crafted 3 alcantara styles in chocolate brown, tobacco beige and deep navy. And also have sand, ivory, dove grey, black and olive available in this unique and luxurious fabric.
Alongside this we have 3 woollen versions for you to view in similar colours showing the difference in cloth and body. These have been made in 3 slightly different weights including a Loro Piana wool & cashmere blend, heavyweight Leichtfried loden and Leichtfried wool & alpaca blend
